Abstract
Lauryl sulfate pillared MgAlLa hydrotalcite-like(LDHs)was prepared by coprecipitation method.X-ray powder diffraction(XRD)and fourier transformed infrared spectrum(FT-IR)were used to characterize the structural of LDHs.The thermal stability,flame retardancy and mechanical property of LDHs in PVC were studied by Congo red method, torque rheometer, limiting oxygen index and vertical combustion method.The results show that the addition of 3 copies LDHs in 100 copies PVC can prolong the thermal stability time and initial whiteness of the material.The addition of 30 copies LDHs in 100 copies PVC can improve the flame retardancy, and have no obvious influence on the mechanical properties.LDHs exhibits the better synergistic effect with ammonium phosphate(APP).When the mass ratio of LDHS/APP is 1/4, the limit oxygen index(LOI)of the material is increased to 29.5%, the vertical combustion grade is 94V-0,and the mechanical properties are significantly enhanced.关键词
