摘要

Abstract

This review article presents the concept and varieties of thermoplastic elastomers,and the characterizations of thermo-plastic composite solid propellants are also introduced.The review article presents the overview on the progress of the applications of the commercial inert thermoplastic elastomers in composite solid propellants.The thermoplastic polyurethane and its application in composite solid propellants are mainly introduced.The possible solutions have been proposed for the difficulties in the research of the inert thermoplastic elastomers used in solid propellants.It is considered that the synthesis of thermoplastic polyurethane as binder is a new trend of thermoplastic propellant.
