Abstract
Objective To explore the preventive effect of drug allergy screening on drug eruption caused by methimazole which applied to the initial treatment of patients with hyperthyroidism.Methods A total of 158 patients with newly diagnosed hyperthyroidism, who were scheduled for methimazole therapy,were divided into observation group and control group based on the ratio of 1 : 1,with 79 cases in each group.The observation group received drug allergy screening using bio-resonance technique,and the subjects with methimazole allergen negative were treated with methimazole additionally.The subjects in the control group were treated with methimazole directly after diagnosed as hyperthyroidism. The incidence rate of drug eruption was observed in both groups. Results The incidence rate of drug eruption in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P <0.05). Conclusion The drug allergy screening with bio-resonance technique used before methimazole therapy can effectively reduce the incidence rate of drug eruption in patients with newly diagnosed hyperthyroid.关键词
