Abstract
The hydrodynamics performance of 250DY ripple packing and traditional 250Y ripple packing was measured in a 400 mm-diameter plexiglass column with an air-water system.The experimental results show that compared with 250Y packing,the dry pressure drop and wet pressure drop before loading velocity with 250DY packing are decreased by 40% and 37%-42% respectively,while the flooding velocity is increased by 24%-33%.250DY packing has an advantage both in decreasing pressure drop and increasing the capacity due to the improvement of structure.In addition,the pressure drop and the flooding velocity are correlated with the experimental data by using the simplex method,and empirical formulas of pressure drop and flooding velocity are obtained,which can provide the basis for the calculation of industrial application of 250DY packing.关键词
