Abstract

China's vanadium titanium magnetite resource reserves amazing,has proven reserves of nearly 10 billion tons,,among which the Panxi titanium reserves accounted for more than 90% of the country's proven reserves,and 40% of the world's having been proven.It has great significance to the strategic use of metal resources in China's development of smelting vanadium titanium magnetite.Titanium-bearing blast furnace slag is a valuable secondary resource.The comprehensive utilization is the fundamental method to solve the problem of environmental pollution and waste of resources caused by the accumulation of titaniumbearing blast furnace slag.The extraction processes of Panzhihua titanium bearing blast furnace slag are summarized in two aspects of pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical.The process of pyrometallurgical mainly includes high-temperature carbonization-low temperature selective chlorination,alloying extraction and selective precipitation and separation.The hydrometallurgical extraction includes sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid,and other extraction methods such as NaOH melting roasting-water leaching titanium technology,Na2CO3 roasting enrichment method and ammonium sulfate melting roasting method.The reaction mechanism and technological process of each process were analyzed,and the characteristics and the main problems in the process were discussed.And it points out the high separation efficiency of titanium equipment,large capacity,low pollution,cost-effective two overall economic four future research direction.The prospect of the research progress of Panzhihua titanium and continuously promotes resource recycling process of Pangang blast furnace slag.Panzhihua Iron and steel smelting V-bearing titanomagnetite in blast furnace produce a large number of the secondary resource of containing titanium blast furnace slag,comprehensive utilization of blast furnace slag is the basic method to solve the environmental pollution and waste of resources.The extraction processes of Panzhihua titanium bearing blast furnace slag are summarized in two aspects of pyrometallurgical and Hydrometallurgical,the characteristics of each process and existing main problems are analysed,and the research direction in the future is pointed out,continue to promote resource recycling process of Pangang blast furnace slag.
