摘要

Abstract

As an important fine chemical products,n-caprylic acid esterification has special application value in many fields such as synthetic cosmetics and pharmaceutical intermediates due to its good reactivity.Concentrated sulfuric acid is generally used as catalyst in the traditional production process of n-caprylic acid esterification,which can result in many serious problems,such as strong corrosiveness to the experimental apparatus,difficult catalyst recovery,serious environmental pollution,etc.So that the traditional production process is not consistent with the current requirements of green,economy and sustainable development.On the contrary,the strong acid macroporouscation exchange resin is widely used as an ideal catalyst due to its many excellent properties,including high catalytic activity and selectivity,good chemical stability,non-corrosiveness to equipment,no"three wastes",and easy separation.Effects of catalyst amount,ratio of the solvent to substrate,temperature,circulating flowofthe intensified reactor andcatalyst cycles were explored to obtain a suitable reaction system.Besides,the thermodynamic and kinetic parameters of the esterification process were further calculated.It could be seem that the experimental values were almost consistent with the theoretical ones,which provided powerful guidance for the industrial applicationof n-caprylic acid esterification.
