Abstract

In order to optimize the objective of the design scheme for open diversion channel,a multi-objective optimal design model of construction open diversion channel is established herein from the aspects of the cost of the open channel diversion works,construction intensity and the risks from both the diversion and river closure by taking the floor elevation of open channel as the design variable on the basis of the holistic perspective of the construction diversion and river closure system,and then all of the sub-objective functions in the model are coupled into a single objective function with linear weighted method,while the model is solved with particle swarm optimization algorithm.Based on the actual case of a hydropower project,the floor elevation of the open channel and the cost of the diversion works,the construction intensity and the related characteristics of the risks from both the diversion and river closure are simulatively analyzed and their functional relation ships are fitted through the curve estimations concerned.On the basis of this,not only the optimization of the floor elevation of the open channel is realized,but the feasibility and effectiveness of the model are also verified.The study result shows that the optimal model proposed herein can realize the comprehensive consideration on the cost of the open channel diversion works,the construction intensity and the risks from both the diversion and river closure,especially on the impacts from the risks from both the diversion and river closure on the optimization result,thus can effectively lower the risk from river closure and the related loss from the risk.
