Abstract
Objective:To investigate the relationship of embryo quality and blastocyst formation in frozen-thawed embryos culture.Methods:The data of 449 patients conducting 478 frozen-thawed cycles in Jiangmen Center Hospital from 2013 to 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.The blastocyst formation rate,available blastocyst formation rate,and high-quality blastocyst formation rate of thawed blastocysts were compared according to age,survival status of thawed embryos,numbers and grade of Day 3 embryonic cells,and Day 3 embryo quality.The correlation of various factors with available/high quality blastocysts was analyzed.Results:The blastocyst formation rate,available blastocyst formation rate and good quality blastocyst formation rate were decreased along with age,but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).The blastocyst formation rate,available blastocyst formation rate and good quality blastocyst formation rate in full-survival embryos group were significantly higher than those in semi-survival embryos group (P<0.05).Those formation rate in good quality of Day 3 embryos group were significantly higher than nongood quality of Day 3 embryos group(P<0.05),and the indicators of 7-9 cells embryos group &>9 cells embryos group was significantly higher than<7 cells embryos group(P<0.05),as well as A+B grade good quality of Day 5 embryos group was better than C+D grade group(19.82% vs.14.83%)(P<0.05).The logistic results showed that patients' age,embryo survival status after thawing,number of Day 3 embryonic cells were significantly corrected with available blastocyst formation(P<0.05).The patients' age,embryo survival status after thawing,number and grade of Day 3 embryonic cells were also significantly correlated with good quality blastocyst formation rate(P<0.05).Conclusions:In frozen-thawed embryonic culture,the patients' age,embryos survival status after thawing,the number and grade of embryonic cells can significantly impact blastocyst formation and quality,in which survival status of embryos after thawing is the most predictive factor for available/good quality blastocyst formation.关键词
