Abstract

The foreign object invasion monitoring system is an important infrastructure of high speed railway. Whether the monitoring net setting range is correct relates directly to the transportation safety of high speed railway. The setting range calculation formula for power grid foreign object invasion monitoring network for highway interchange over crossing railway is suggested in Disaster Prevention and Safety Monitoring System of High Speed Railway——Scheme of Foreign Object Invasion Monitoring on Highway Interchange Crossing Railway issued by the former MOR Transport Bureau in 2010. Case analysis indicates that the calculation value is smaller, while the intersection angle between the railway and the highway bridge is greater than 70 degree,and the value can even be irrationally negative,which imposes detrimental effect on the safety of high speed railway operation. Thus, it is necessary to modify and improve the calculation formula. This article discusses three scopes of the intersection angle between the railway and the highway crossing bridge (0,70°), [70°, 90°), [90°, 180°), utilizes trigonometric function and forms a new set of calculation formula. Research results show that the setting range of power grid monitoring network calculated according to the new calculation formula is more scientific and reasonable and can improve the safety performance of foreign object invasion monitoring system of high speed railway.
