Comprehensive Logging Evaluation of the Carboniferous Volcanic Reservoir in Chepaizi Uplift

Abstract
The Carboniferous igneous rock in Chepaizi Uplift of Junggar Basin is characterized by low exploration level,complex lithology and diverse reservoir types.Based on the petrology and conventional logging analyses,mul-tiple lithology identification plates and ECS interpretation are comprehensively used to establish a composite single-well columnar section to further identify the reservoir development in this area. The ESC logging porosity calculation model of Carboniferous volcanic formation is determined and the electrical imaging logging interpretation is used to accurately calculate the reservoir fracture width,length,porosity and other parameters. The fracture activity is ob-tained by imaging logging and multipole array acoustic logging interpretations. Finally,the planar distribution pat-terns of different seismic reflections and favorable reservoir zones are provided. Research indicates that reservoir li-thology can be continuously and accurately identified by this new comprehensive logging evaluation,which could improve reservoir evaluation and provide certain scientific reference for the further hydrocarbon exploration and de-velopment in this area.关键词
