Abstract

Reservoir subdivision is usually conducted in offshore oilfield with high water-cut due to the limitation of platform and development investment.According to the theoretical and field productivity test,the interlayer interfer-ence in multi-layer production oilfield with high water-cut is not only influenced by longitudinal heterogeneity but also more affected by the pressures,water content and other aspects of different longitudinal layers.Due to the limit-ed researches on the quantitative characterization and reservoir subdivision boundaries of interlayer interference in high water-cut stage,a concept of interlayer dynamic interference is proposed based on the dynamic and static fac-tors of interlayer interference. In addition,a mathematical model is established to quantitatively characterize the in-terlay dynamic reference coefficient by using seepage theories. The quantitative relations between dynamic interfer-ence coefficient and permeabilities,water-cuts and pressures of different longitudinal layers are gained for multi-layer production sandstone oil reservoir with high water-cut. The corresponding technical boundaries of reservoir subdivision for high water-cut oil reservoir is proposed by combining with numerical simulation:the permeability contrast is less than 5.0,water-cut contrast is less than 1.7 and the pressure contrast is less than 1.6. The pilot test is carried out in the Bohai SZ Oilfield with high water-cut based on this research and the technical boundaries of reservoir subdivision is used to develop a reasonable subdivision and combination pattern. After reservoir subdivi-sion in the pilot test area,the relative average daily oil increment is up to 20%,the water-cut is reduced by 10 Persentage Points. This research could provide a reference for the quantitative characterization of interlayer conflicts and countermeasure development for the offshore oilfield with high water-cut.
