Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of single-site laparoscopic thyroidectomy by the axillary approach for treatment of thyroid diseases.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted in 80 cases with thyroid diseases.40 cases admitted from January 2016 to December 2016 were regarded as the observation group and performed single-site laparoscopic thyroidectomy by the axillary approach,including 23 cases of thyroma and 17 cases of nodular goiter;Another 40 cases selected from December 2014 to December 2015 were regarded as the control group and carried out open thyroidectomy.Results The blood loss and post-operative hospital stays were lower,the operation time was longer,the cosmetic NSS score and clinical effective rate were higher in the observation group than those in the control group,and all the differences were statistical (P ＜ 0.05).There were 2 of subcutaneous hydrops and 2 of nerve injury in the observation group,3 of nerve injury in the control group,and no statistical difference in complication rate between two groups (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion The single-site laparoscopic thyroidectomy by the axillary approach can improve the perioperative outcomes and the clinical curative effect,increase the cosmetic results,and it deserve popularization.关键词
