Abstract
Objective To conduct the cost-effectiveness analysis of different preventive antimicrobials programs for the perioperative patients with lung cancer. Methods 84 patients in total with lung cancer were selected in our hospital from August 2016 to November 2017. According to the 3 different preventive antimicrobials programs, they were divided into group A, group B and group C, 28 cases in each group. The length of operative time and postoperative hospital stays, the temperature before and after the operation, temperature recovery time, the rate of incision infection, the duration of antibiotics, and the cost of antibiotics were compared between group A, group B and group C. Results The length of operative time, the temperature before and after the operation and the rate of incision infection among the three groups had no significant difference (P>0.05). However, the duration of antibiotics was significantly shortened and the cost of antibacterial drugs decreased significantly in group A compared with the other two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Using a short course of cefazolin sodium in perioperative period of lung cancer patients is less costly and it can also effectively prevent postoperative infection and reduce antibiotic dosage.关键词
