Abstract
Owing to its good adaptability,Hilbert-Huang transform(HHT)has been widely used in the analysis of par?tial discharge(PD)and other nonlinear/non-stationary signals. However,the phenomenon of mode mixing,which is generated during the process of decomposition,always results in a large deviation between the analysis results and actu?al values.In this paper,wavelet packet transform is used to decompose the signal into high-and low-frequency parts at first. Then,empirical mode decomposition(EMD)is used in the reconstructed signals respectively,and the optimal correlation coefficient is adopted as the criterion for selecting valid components of intrinsic mode function(IMF)to per?form Hilbert transform.Finally,the Hilbert and marginal spectrums of the original signal are drawn.Through simula?tions as well as the analysis and verification of actual PD signals,it is proved that compared with the traditional HHT, the method proposed in this paper can suppress mode mixing effectively and express the frequency components con?tained in the signal and the time-frequency distribution more accurately.关键词
