摘要

Abstract

Based on the analysis of the characteristics of network packet transmission under the IEC 61850 standard,a dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm for the IEC 61850 network packet transmission based on ethernet passive optical network (EPON)is proposed.Firstly,by using the fixed polling cycle,the algorithm divides the bandwidth into three classes,which are called sampled measured value(SMV),generic object oriented substation event(GOOSE),manufacturing message specification(MMS)and three priorities.It guarantees the real-time transmission of SMV and GOOSE,and reduces the network delay jitter.Then,this algorithm uses the improved REPORT uploading and GATE downloading mechanism to increase the efficiency of bandwidth utilization.The typical application of the system and the test verification scheme are briefly introduced.Finally,the test results show that the algorithm meets the requirements of real-time and rapidity for transmission of IEC 61850 network packets.
