Abstract

In order to research the principle of the hydrocarbon accumulation for the “source rock above reservoir”association and superimposed single sandbody in Fuyu oil layers in Songliao Basin,with the help of the actual oil reservoir data and in terms of the principle of the hydrocarbon accumulation,the petroleum differentiation phenomena presented for the “source rock above reservoir” association and among the different reservoirs were studied.The research achievements show that the oil discharges from the source rock to the reservoirs,in the period of the structural activities,taking the faults as the channels,under the mutual action of the gravity,the oil and water migrate from the upper reservoirs to the lower ones,this kind of the migration mode is called the gravity surge flow mode,and then re-differentiate in the lower formations,finally migrate upward in the form of the free phase and accumulate in the traps;in the hydrocarbon reservoirs,the oil,gas and water not only differentiate within the same reservoir,but form the differentiation system with the help of the connection of the faults (fractures ) between the two sandbodies,this is named different-reservoir differentiation physical mode.The gravity surge flow and the reservoiraccumulating principle of different-reservoir differentiation system modes can effectively guide the petroleum exploration.
