Abstract

To investigate the effects of lipopolysaccharide stress on growth performance,intestinal microflo-ra and meat quality in broilers,the optimal dosage LPS as immune stress model was determined for clarif-ying the immune stress and metabolic changes in animal growth and development from the angle of nutri-tion to develop anti immune stress drugs.120 broilers were randomly divided into 4 groups (control group, group Ⅰ,group Ⅱ,group Ⅲ),respectively in 16,18,20 days of ages,groups Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ were intraperitoneal injected with lipopolysaccharide 100,500,1 000 μg/kg,the control group injected with saline,test for a pe-riod of 42 d.The average daily weight gain,average daily feed intake,feed conversion ratio,Escherichia co-li,Lactobacillus,Bifidobacterium,slaughter rate,semi eviscerated rate,eviscerated rate,meat color,pH, shear force,water loss rate and other indicators were measured to analyz the effects of different doses of li-popolysaccharide on growth performance,intestinal microflora and meat quality in broilers.The results showed that compared with control group,the average daily feed intake,average daily weight gain,the number of Lactobacillus,Bifidobacterium,a? and pH were significantly decreased (P<0.05),Escherichia coli,water loss rate increased significantly(P<0.05)in group Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ ;compared with and group Ⅰ,the average daily feed intake,average daily gain,the number of Bifidobacterium,pH decreased significantly(P<0.05),the number of Escherichia coli and water loss rate were significantly increased(P<0.05)in groups Ⅱ,Ⅲ;compared with group Ⅱ,the average daily weight gain was significantly decreased (P<0.05),the water loss rate significantly improved (P<0.05)in group Ⅲ.The lipopolysaccharide can cause intestinal microflora balance changes,resulting in a decline in broiler growth performance,slaughter performance and meat quality,and the more stress strength,the more negative effect.
