摘要
Abstract
Tributyrin(TB)is a short chain fatty acid ester which composed of 4 carbons, it is colourless near oily liquid and has a slight fat aroma. It can be passed through the gastrointestinal tract smoothly, decomposed into butyric acid slowly, and then to the end of the intestinal, exerting physiological effects. Researches have reported that TB could enhance the digestion of nutrients,maintain the balance of intestinal flora,enhance tight junction, increase the secretion of mucin, improve intestinal immunity, finally enhancing the growth of ani-mals. Thus, it is a nutrition strategy that supplementation TB in the diet to improve the intestinal barrier func-tion and growth of animals, and it has been widely used in animals husbandry. The aim of this study is to out-line the effects of TB on animal's growth and intestinal barrier function and it potential regulation mechanisms.关键词
