Extreme Wind Speed Simulation of Transmission Line Based on YanMeng Typhoon Model

Abstract
As an important basis for wind resistant design of transmission lines,the extreme wind speed is of great significance to the strength and service life of structures.To overcome the limitation of observation data,a method was provided to calculate the extreme wind speed.Which is on the basis of the physics equation of typhoon wind field.First,use historical typhoon to do back-calculate and to verify the adaptability of the wind model.Afterward,by combining the ty phoon yearbook,the simulation circle method and Monte Carlo simulation are used to calculate maximum wind speed series in the study point,and the extreme wind speed is calculated according to the Type Ⅲ extreme-value Weibull distribution.Finally,Haikou city of Hainan province was picked as an example to elaborate the method of calculating extreme wind speed in detail and the extreme wind speed of Haikou city in 100 years return period was simulated.Besides,the simulation value was compared with the observation statistics,and the results show that the simulation effect is good,and it can provide a theoretical reference to wind resistant design of transmission lines in coastal regions.关键词
