茶油抑制实验性结肠炎的作用研究
The Effect of Camellia Oil on the Experimental Colitis

Abstract
Objective:This project studies whether Camellia oil has a preventive effect on experimental colitis and its mechanisms.Methods:First,C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into PBS treatment group (Control) and Camellia oil treatment group (Camellia Oil),and then the mice were orally gavaged with Camellia oil for 1 week.After that,mice were treated with 3% dextran sodium sulfate (DSS).The clinical symptoms of colitis (including weight loss and colon shortening) were observed after treatment.The colonic injury and infiltration of inflammatory cells were observed by H&E staining,and inflammatory cytokines (such as IL-6,MCP-1,KC,and IL-10) were detected by qRT-PCR.Results:Compared with the control group,the mice in the Camellia oil treated group had less weight loss,less c olonic shortening,more intact intestinal mueosal structure,and less infiltration of inflammatory cells after colitis.qRT-PCR results showed that pro-inflammatory cytokines MCP-1 (P < 0.05),KC (P < 0.000 1),and IL-6 (P < 0.05) mRNA levels in colon tissue of mice significantly decreased when compared with untreated group.The anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 mRNA levels tended to increase after Camellia oil treatment but there was no statistical significance.Conclusion:Camellia oil has preventive effects on experimental colitis and may inhibit inflammation by downregulating the cytokine expression levels.关键词
