摘要

Abstract

The process of the aircraft windshield under bird impact was simulated by using LS-DYNA fi-nite element software,the windshield model was defined by the Lagrange method,four bird mechanics model were established,the speed of bird was 450~650 km/h,and the impact position was first 1/3 point,middle point and back 1/3 point of the windshield symmetry line.There are mainly studied the different bird mechanical models,the effect of windshield respond under bird impact in different impact points and the comparison of two common windshield materials response under bird impact.The follow-ing conclusions are drawn:the bird model using the smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH)method and the custom material can simulate the process of splashing in a fluid form of the bird impacting on wind-shield at high speed,and can accurately predict the bird impact dynamic response of windshield;the front of the windshield against the bird-impact is strongest while the middle and the rear of the wind-shield is weaker;the DYB-3 aviation organic glass windshield shows higher impact resistance in the sim-ulation of bird impact.
