摘要

Abstract

Penicillium digitatum is a major postharvest pathogen and is quite harmful to fruit and vegetable preservation.Therefore,it is necessary to search for an effective control method.In this study,the main pathogen is isolated from naturally infected citrus and identified by rDNA-ITS method.Then the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs)of exogenous boric acid(BA)were confirmed.The relationships between exogenous BA as well as the growth and pathogenicity of the pathogen were evaluated via the assessments of physiological,biochemical indexes and inoculation experiments of fruits.The results indicated that the isolated pathogen was identified as P.digitatum.The antifungal effect of BA had positive relationship with its concentration.Under the MICs,BA could significantly inhibit spore germination, reduce germ tube elongation and mycelium extension rate,lower biomass accumulation,result in sugar malabsorption of P.digitatum,and effectively control green mold of citrus caused by P.digitatum.This study provided a new approach to control P.digitatum.
