Abstract

To improve the slaughter performance of Queshan Black pig,Queshan Black pig was taken as the female parent,Duroc,Landrace,Yorkshire and Hampshire as the male parent to conduct binary hybrid experiment;Landrace× Queshan was taken as the female parent,Duroc and Yorkshire as male parent to conduct three-way cross experiment.The data were collected to analyze the slaughter performance and carcass traits of offspring of different hybrid combination.Results show the offspring of Landrace× Queshan binary hybrid has higher daily weight gain,dressing percentage,lean meat rate and loin eye area,namely,440.53 g/d,75.05 %,53.19 %,and 34.51m2,than Que× Que and other hybrid combination (P<0.05);the offspring of Yorkshire× Landrace× Que has a significantly higher daily weight gain of 663.76g/d than Duroc× Landrace× Que(P<0.05),other indices are insignificantly different (P>0.05);the threeway hybrid combination has significantly higher daily weight gain (629.60 g/d),lean meat rate (57.46%),loin eye area (33.89 m2) than binary hybrid combination(P<0.05).The experiment reveals Landrace × Que binary hybrid and Yorkshire× Landrace× Que three-way cross combination are superior to other hybrid combinations to some extent,which are better hybrid methods for Queshan Black pig.
