Abstract
Objective To investigate the death altitude and quality of life in community elderly with coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods 70 community elderly with CHD were selected and the Elderly Death Altitude Scale and WHOQOLBREF were applied in investigating their death altitude and quality of life.Results Among the scores of death altitude,the score of death avoidance (17.26±4.31) was the highest,the next was the score of natural acceptance (15.79±2.67),and the lowest was the score of approach death acceptance (11.52±2.54);the total score of quality of life (60.04±7.85) was in negative correlation to the scores of death fear and anxiety,escape death acceptance,approach death acceptance and death avoidance (r=-0533,-0.563,-0.268 and-0.286) while that was in positive correlation to the score of natural acceptance (r=0.283).Conclusions Most of the community elderly with CHD hold a contradictory altitude to death,which is of passive affection on their quality of life;more attention should be paid in clinical to death altitude of community elderly with CHD and certain measures be taken as so to promote the quality of life.关键词
