Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of evidence-based nursing on sleep quality,anxiety and depression in the elderly with coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods 70 elderly with CHD were randomly divided into 2 groups:observation group (n=35) and control group (n=35);routine nursing was performed in control group while evidence-based nursing in observation group;the Pittsburgh sleep scale index (PSQI),self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) were used in evaluating the sleeping quality,depression and anxiety of the cases in both groups at the day of admission and 4 weeks after treatment,and a comparative study was made to the scores between the 2 groups.Results The comparison of the scores of sleeping quality between the 2 groups at admission was of no statistical difference (P ＞ 0.05);4 weeks after admission,the scores of sleeping quality in the 2 groups were lower than those at admission (P＜0.05);the scores of 7 sub-items in PSQI and the total score of PSQI in observation group were much lower than those in control group (P ＜ 0.05,P ＜ 0.01);there existed no statistical difference in the scores of SAS and SDS between the 2 groups at admission (P＞0.05) while 4 weeks after admission,the scores of SAS and SDS in both groups were much lower than those at admission (P＞0.01),and the scores in observation group were obviously lower than those in control group (P＞0.05);the sleeping quality in observation group is higher than that in control group and the improvement of anxiety and depression in observation is superior than that in control group.Conclusions Evidence-based nursing is of better effect in improving sleeping quality,anxiety and depression of the elderly with CHD,and it has certain value of application.关键词
