新鲜椰衣纤维表面半纤维素含量的测定及去除
Determination and Removal of Hemicellulose Content on the Surface of Coir Fiber

Abstract
Fresh coconut fiber has a certain amount of loose coconut bran on its surface.The main components of coco coir are hemicellulose and pentosan,not conducive to modifying coir fiber,must be removed.Dilute sulphuric acid was used to remove the hemicellulose bran on the surface of fresh coconut fiber,and the content of hemicellulose was determined by spectrophotometry.The effect of hemicellulose removal on coir fiber was investigated.The results showed the highest removal of hemicellulose could be achieved when hydrolyzed for 2 h in 1.3 mol/L sulfuric acid with a solid-liquid ratio 1∶5 under 102℃.Under the above conditions the hemicellulose adhesion to the surface of semi fresh coconut fiber was 14.58%.Reproducibility test and standard recovery test confirmed the method was effective.The change of the surface of coconut fiber was observed under infrared scanning electron microscope.关键词
