摘要

Abstract

A high sensitivity hydrophone based on tangential polarized thin shell piezoelectric cy-lindrical tube was developed.Applying the membrane theory,the frequency equations were ob-tained from the geometrical equations,motion equations and piezoelectric equations.The vibra-tions of the tube was analyzed including the radially and longitudinal resonance frequency,and the influence of the tube′s configuration to its sensitivity was studied.The major performances of the hydrophone were predicted through finite element method.The corresponding tests of a hy-drophone prototype showed the maximum sensitivity of-179.1 dB in the certain band.
