摘要
Abstract
The recent advances in study on catalysts for synthesis of glycerol carbonate from reaction of glycerol with urea has been summarized from two perspectives of homogeneous catalysts and heterogeneous catalysts. The applications of different types of catalysts such as metal salts, metal oxides and ionic liquids in the synthesis of the glycerol carbonate from urea and glycerol have been introduced. A possible reaction mechanism is proposed,which may be very helpful for further catalyst structure optimization. In addition,the prospect of industrial application of the synthesis of the glycerol carbonate from urea and glycerol is forecasted.关键词
