Norms on the Scale of Positive Psychological Benefit from Physical Activity in Middle-school Students

Abstract
Purposes:To establish the national norms for the Scale Of Positive Psychological Benefit From Physical Activity In Middle-School Students,and to test its measurement indicators.Method:Testing 13852 middle-school students all over the country as subjects by using this scale.Results:(1)The data obeyed the normal distribution,the histogram showed negative deviation,the distribution of the scores tended to be higher scores;(2)The effect of positive psy-chological benefit from physical activity was stronger in junior students than seniors,showing significant stage characteristics.;(3)This scale has moderate dif-ficulties and significant distinction,showing excellent discernment;(4)According to the tests,we established the national percentage of the norm and the over-all diagnostic criteria of the scale,thus the classification of norm and diagnostic criteria based on gender and grade was developed.Conclusions:The Scale Of Positive Psychological Benefit From Physical Activity In Middle-School Students can be used as an effective tool for diagnosing and evaluating the positive psy-chological benefit from physical activity in middle-school students.关键词
