摘要

Abstract

Objective To explore the effects of the infusion of different doses of nerve growth factor (NGF) in nerve anastomose embedding sheath on nerve regeneration.Methods A total of 30 SD rats were divided into three groups.All rats received left posterior sciatic denervation,nerve anastomose and placement of embedding sheath.The embedding sheath in group A was perfused with NGF 15 μg/d,that in group B with NGF 30 μg/d and that in group C with NGF 60 μg/d for three consecutive weeks.The changes in animal behavior of the rats were observed within three weeks after the operation.The affected limbs received electrophysiological examnination on the third week and general observation and microscopic observation of anastomotic stoma.Results The results of electrophysiological examination showed that the nerve conduction velocity in group C was the highest,and the incubation period the shortest,followed by those in group B and group C (P < 0.05).It can be microscopically seen that there were thick medullary nerve fibers and large diameter in groups B and C and that the arrangement was neat,showing that the nerves were close to normal nerves;there were thin medullary nerve fibers and small diameter in group A and that the arrangement was loose.The order of axon number and axon diameter was group C > group B > group A (P < 0.05).Conclusion After denervation and nerve anastomose,the perfusion of NGF in embedding sheath can promote nerve regeneration and the effects are dose-dependent.
