Abstract
Objective To study the effects of Tocilizumab (TCZ) combined with Iguratimod (IMD) in the treatment of refractory rheumatoid arthritis (RRA) and the impacts on erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and serum C reactive protein (CRP) and immunoglobulin G (IgG) levels.Methods A total of 76 patients with RRA were randomly divided into a combination group treated with TCZ + IMD and an IMD group treated with IMD (n=38,respectively).The effects and the changes in ESR and serum CRP and IgG levels before and after the treatment were compared between the two groups.Results After one and three months' treatment,the disease activity score (DAS28 score),clinical symptom and clinical disease activity index(CDAI) scores in the combination group were improved more significantly than those in the IMD group (P ＜ 0.05);the decrease of ESR and serum IgG and CRP levels was greater than that in the IMD group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion TCZ combined with IMD can effectively improve the clinical symptom in the patients with RRA,reduce the body inflammatory response and improve the joint range of motion.关键词
