Abstract
Objective To explore the expression and clinical significance of 8-Iso-prostaglandin F2α (8-iso-PGF2α) in the induced sputum and serum in the hhhpatients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).Methods The patients with COPD in stable period ("SCOPD group"),the patients with COPD in acute exacerbation period (AECOPD group) and healthy subjects ("control group") (n=30,respectively) were selected to detect the levels of 8-iso-PGF2o in the induced sputum and serum and analyze the correlation between the levels of 8-iso-PGF2α and FEV1％ and BODE index.Results The levels of 8-iso-PGF2α in the induced sputum and serum in the control group,SCOPD group and AECOPD group increased successively,and there were significant differences among the three groups (P ＜ 0.05);the levels of 8-iso-PGF2o in the induced sputum and serum in the SCOPD group were positively correlated to the BODE scores and negatively correlated to FEV1％,but there was no such correlation in the AECOPD group.Conclusion 8-iso-PGF2α may be involved in the airway and systemic inflammatory reactions in COPD and may be a new biological index of acute outbreak of COPD and the severity of disease.关键词
