Theses of Students Pursuing a Degree of Master of General Practice in China during 2008-2017: a Literature Review
摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the theses of students pursuing a degree of master of general practice in China.Methods On October 20,2017,we searched the databases of CNKI and Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform for theses of students pursuing a degree of master of general practice in China published between 2008 and 2017.Bibliometrics and content analysis were conducted to analyze the time of publication,department/work unit of the author's supervisor,location of the university that the author from by province,research method,theme,and studied types/problems of diseases.Microsoft Excel 2010 was used to carry out descriptive statistical analysis.Results A total of 289 theses were included.Analysis revealed that 124 (43.0％) were published in 2015,and 116 (40.1％) were published in 2016;universities owning the highest percentage of authors are located in Guangdong [28 (9.7％)],Tianjin [28 (9.7％)],Zhejiang [26 (9.0％)],and Shanghai [24 (8.3％)];the top 3 departments that the author's supervisor trom are emergency department [27 (14.6％)],cardiovascular department [20(10.8％)],and geriatric department[19(10.3％)];the research methods mostly used are ease series analysis[136(47.1％)],current status survey [76 (26.3％)] and experimental study [24 (8.3％)];the themes studied most commonly are disease/health problems [223 (77.2％)],health service management [30 (10.4％)] and psychology,behavior and sociology [20 (6.9％)];the types/problems of diseases most frequently studied are acute critical illness [48 (16.6％)],social problems [38 (13.1％)] and cardiovascular diseases [37 (12.8％)].Conclusion The education for students pursuing a degree of master of general practice in China has developed rapidly,the theses of these students demonstrate a variety of themes,types/problems of diseases using different research methods,but the level of research needs to be improved.关键词
