Abstract
The tobacco scrap was breaked by Wiley mill,the breached scrap with various sizes mix with softwood pulp fibers to make reconstituted tobacco sheet,the effect of scrap size on the physical properties of reconstituted tobacco sheet was investigated.The results showed that the reconstituted tobacco sheet had better physical properties with adding 60 ～ 120 mesh tobacco scrap pulp.Compared with the pulping processes of mixing softwood pulp and tobacco scrap,the bulk and softness of the sheet increased by 6.28％ and 23.03％,respectively.While the tensile strength was almost unchanged.With the reduction of particle size of pulverized tobacco scrap,the tensile strength of reconstituted tobacco sheet gradually increased,permeability if the sheet and drainage rate of the stick increased firstly then decreased,but bulk,softness and first pass retention decreased gradually.Moreover,the results of smoking test of the reconstituted tobacco prepared by new process that the woody odor and stimulation reduced,the quality was improved obviously compared with the normal reconstituted tobacco sheet.关键词
