分析国外医学图书馆员在不同工作场景中的角色定位和职业能力需求,为国内医学图书馆员职业发展提供借鉴.结果显示,医学图书馆员在健康信息服务、健康素养教育、决策支持和公共卫生服务等方面均能发挥作用,其职业角色和能力受到医学专家和用户的认可.医学图书馆员不但要具备沟通、系统评价、资源评价、组织管理、健康信息管理等通用能力,还需要精于教学并能助推健康信息行业的发展,最终担当起"健康信息学家"或"临床信息专家"等更高端的职业角色.
