Abstract
Li Shizhen,a great medical scientist,it is the 500th anniversary of his birth in 2018.Explaining the great contribution to human society which are made by Li Shizhen through seven aspects of Compendium of Materia Medica,such as compilation and publication process,foreword writing by WangShizhen,evaluation of celebrity or organization,the impact of the east to the west,the value of Traditional Chinese Medicine and traditional culture,general situation of modern application and so on,investigating the broad and profound scientific value.All in all,even though science and technology highly developed today, we can certain that Li Shizhen's contribution is great and the academic value of Compendium of Materia Medica is eternal.关键词
