基于广域测量信息的电力系统故障诊断解析模型
Wide Area Measurements Based Analytic Model for Power System Fault Diagnosis

Abstract
The existing methods for power system fault diagnosis generally employ status information of protective relays (PRs) and circuit breakers(CBs) as the only input,leading to a lack of information redundancy. As a result,ambiguous and even false diagnosis results may be obtained for complicated fault scenarios. With the wide deployment of phasor measurement units(PMUs),the real-time synchronized phasor data become available. In this background, an enhanced analytic model is proposed using both status information and phasor data. First, the outage areas are effectively identified by utilizing the combined data of CB statuses and phasor data. Next,the fault diagnosis is carried out for the identified outage areas using the proposed method. New diagnostic criteria based on phasor data are presented,and the traditional ones are modified, so as to enhance fault tolerance and adaptability. Finally,the testing results on the IEEE 39-bus system demonstrate the feasibility and high fault tolerance capacity of the developed model. Simulation results show that after incorporating the phase data, the proposed method can tackle complicated fault scenarios with protective device malfunctions and alarms distortions.关键词
