摘要

Abstract

The measurement method for the module capacitance voltage of a modular multilevel converter(MMC) was studied through simulations and experiments.A bridge-arm needed only one voltage sensor to measure the capacitor voltage of the bridge-arm PWM modulation unit,while the capacitance voltage of a non-modulation unit was obtained ac-cording to bridge-arm current integral.In consideration of two indexes(i.e.,switching loss and capacitance voltage balan-ce),two switching modes of module were comprehensively utilized.Experiments were designed based on TMS28035,and the results verified the validity and effectiveness of the proposed control method.
