摘要

Abstract

The Yangchang Mo-Cu polymetallic deposit of the Xilamulun molybdenum metallogenic belt is located in the east part of the Central Asian-Mongolian belt of Inner Mongolia. Its major ore bodies are associated spatially with the Late Yanshanian medium-coarse biotite monzogranite. Molybde-nite, chalcopyrite,pyrite,galena and sphalerite are the main metallic minerals,which occur naturally in both quartz vein type and breccia type ores. The δ34S values of 14 sulfides from the main metallic minerals are concentrated in a narrow range near 0‰,from -1.664‰to 1.293‰,with an average val-ue of 0.516‰,and the δ34S values are typical of magmatic sulfur,indicating that the mineralization at the Yangchang deposit was magmatic in origin. Relative to molybdenum deposit, the Yangchang Mo-Cu polymetallic deposit have such a wide variety of metallic minerals and the δ34S values are con-centrated in a narrow range near 0‰, indicative of a primitive mantle source of the Yangchang deposit.
