摘要

Abstract

As a substitute of limestone desulfurizer,soda residue (white mud)can be used in wet flue gas desulfurization (WFGD)to reduce power generation costs and improve resource utilization ratio. In order to study component characteris-tics of soda residue and its reaction characteristic in desulfurization,this paper compares desulfurization efficiency of soda residue and limestone by experiment on the small desulfurization platform. It adopts the single factor control method and se-lects different entrance SO2 concentration,liquid-gas ratios,pH values and mixtures of soda residue and limestone with dif-ferent mixing ratios so as to investigate desulfurization reaction characteristics under different conditions. It also analyzes e-conomy of using soda residue to replace limestone in desulfurization by taking one power plant as an example. The results in-dicate under the same initial condition,desulfurization efficiency of soda residue is superior to that of limestone,especially when entrance SO2 concentration is high,the desulfurization effect is more remarkable. As pH value of soda residue slurry reduces below 7,desulfurization efficiency of soda residue decreases,but still superior to that of limestone.
