Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between plasma high molecular weight adiponectin, total adiponectin and its ratio and the incidence of breast cancer. Methods From May 2016 to January 2017 102 cases of breast cancer were selected as observation group.Sixty cases of healthy women undergoing physical examination at the same period were selected as control group. The plasma high molecular weight adiponectin, total adiponectin and its ratio were measured and univariate and multivariate analysis was conducted. Results The plasma high molecular weight adiponectin, total adiponectin and its ratio were significantly higher in the control group than those in the observation group, and there were significant differences between two groups(t value was 6.371,5.763 and 4.971,respectively,all P<0.05).The prevalence of breast cancer was higher among cases with greater age, menopause, family history of breast cancer, overweight, and oral contraceptive use,and the differences were significant(χ2value was 11.125,10.408,47.883,7.000 and 16.235,respectively,all P<0.05).Multivariate Logistics regression analysis revealed that menopause, family history of breast cancer and BMI≥24 kg/m2could significantly increase the incidence of breast cancer(χ2value was 14.824,7.726 and 76.540,respectively,all P<0.05),and they were the independent risk factors of breast cancer. There was no significant correlation between high molecular weight adiponectin, total adiponectin and their ratio with the incidence of breast cancer(P>0.05).Conclusion Further studies are needed to explore whether high molecular weight adiponectin, total adiponectin and its ratio are protected factors of breast cancer. For the population with risk factors of breast cancer, the screening should be carried out in order to make early detection and early treatment.关键词
