Abstract

Objective To explore the current situation of humanistic care quality of the nursing interns and its influence factors. Methods With convenient sampling, 400 nursing interns in our college from July to December 2016 were surveyed by using the general information questionnaire, the Scale of Humanistic Care Quality of Nurses and the Nursing Students ' Perception of Humanistic Care Scale. Results The total score of humanistic caring quality was 127.69 ±16.76, with a scoring rate of 88.06%. Multiple linear regression showed that humanistic atmosphere around the students, the reasons for choosing nursing as the profession, and the level of nursing students' perception of hospital humanistic caring atmosphere were the independent predictive factors of the humanistic care quality of the nursing interns (P<0.05). Conclusion The score of humanistic care quality of the nursing interns is relatively high and it is influenced by humanistic atmosphere around the students, the reasons for choosing nursing as the profession, and the level of nursing students' perception of hospital humanistic caring atmosphere. Great attention should be paid to the reasons for choosing nursing the profession and the promotion of humanistic atmosphere of the hospital so as to enhance humanistic care quality of the nursing interns.
