摘要

Abstract

Fatigue is one of the main failure forms of pressure vessels .When the operation temperature of equipment reaches the creep temperature of the material ,the interaction of creep and fatigue will acceler-ate the damage process of the material .Melt salt storage tank is an important equipment in the photo ther-mal power generation system ,used for storing melt salt heated by concentrated solar energy ,and its opera-tion temperature can be as high as 580 ℃.In this paper , a three-dimensional finite element model was built for a large melt salt storage tank .Thermal fatigue analysis and assessment under maximum and mini-mum temperatures was performed according to the ASME code ,and effects of creep damage and fatigue damage on equipment life were compared .The creep-fatigue assessment result of this storage tank was acceptable ,and the effect of creep on equipment life is bigger .
