鼻渊通窍颗粒联合西药治疗儿童慢性鼻-鼻窦炎
Biyuan Tongqiao granule in combined with the western medicine in the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis in children

Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of the integrative Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) in children and the effect on the upper respiratory tract and orbital complications.Methods A total of 106 children with CRS who were admitted in our hospital from October, 2013 to October, 2015 were included in the study and divided into the study group and the control group with 53 cases in each group according to the treatment methods. The patients in the study group were given the integrative Chinese and western medicine, while the patients in the control group were only given the western medicine . The curative effect, the upper respiratory tract infection, and the orbital complications during the treatment process 1 and 3 months after treatment in the two groups were observed.Results The clinical total effective rate 3 months after treatment in the study group (94.34％) was significantly higher than that in the control group (79.25％) (P<0.05). The occurrence rate of upper respiratory infection in the study group (3.77％) was significantly lower than that in the control group (20.75％) (P<0.05). The occurrence rate of orbital complications (7.56％) was significantly lower than that in the control group (26.42％) (P<0.05).Conclusion The integrative Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of CRS in children can enhance the clinical efficacy, and control the occurrence rate of upper respiratory tract and orbital complications.关键词
