摘要

Abstract

The calculation method for the paste density and porosity of the dry plate for the VRLAB was introduced.If there was no pore inside the crystals such as 3BS and 4BS,the paste density could be accurately calculated according to the density and weight of its compounds.The water in the paste on the conditions of after pasting and before sulfation would be evaporated and the pores would be remained in the plate,so such pores could be defined as the nominal pore,and then the nominal porosity was calculated.The function of the nominal pore in the battery design was analyzed and the relationship between the paste density and nominal porosity was described.
