Research on the Efficiency of Regional Social Security Expenditure

Abstract
Based on the differences between the level of social security expenditure and the treatment level in every China's province , a static analysis of the comprehensive technical efficiency of social security in the year of 2005 is carried out with the aid of DEA model. Malmquist index is used to analyze the dynamic changes of social security efficiency from 2009～2015. The results show that the social security efficiency level is not ideal with only 13 provinces reaching DEA efficiency. Comprehensive technical efficiency has a large difference between the provinces as well as efficiency values. The eastern region is higher than the central and western regions. Total factor productivity changed from growth to decline in 2009～2015. There is significant difference in total factor productivity growth between provinces. The comprehensive technical efficiency of most provinces is on the rise, while the pure technical efficiency index has declined. Besides, most provinces have good scale efficiency. Finally, suggestions are made according to the analysis.关键词
