PDGFR is a single-chain transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the type III tyro-sine protein kinase family and is an important member of the signal transduction pathway. PDGFR can stimulate cell chemotaxis, cleavage, and proliferation. PDGFR also plays an important role in growth and development, wound repair, as well as other physiological processes.
