Determination of Picric Acid in Surface Water by Ion Chromatography

摘要

Abstract

A method for the determination of picric acid in surface water by ion chromatography is established under the following conditions:an AS23 column applied as separation column,40 mmol/L NaOH as eluent,flow rate of 1 mL/min,and sample injection volume of 1 mL,etc.Detection limit of the method is 0.04 mg/L for picric acid.Recovery rate and relative standard deviation (n =7) are 101.6% and 2.36%,respectively.Remarkably,there is no hexane or benzene used as toxic solvent in the method,which are significantly harmful to human.Also,this proposed method meets the requirement of Environmental Quality Standards for Surface Water (GB 3838-2002).Comparing to the recommendatory methods,this method is environmentally friendly,simple and safe.
