Abstract
The valve-closure water hammer was the main reason that often caused sudden rise of pressure of the gravity conduit,which also affected operation security of water delivery pipeline system.Raw water transportation project with the capacity of 15 000 m3/d,in Yunnan Province,and the long distance of 159 km,had 11 water treatment plants along the pipeline,whose level difference between the source area and intake area of water was 146.50 m.Combined with engineering examples and based on Bentley Hammer V8 water hammer and transient analysis software,this study simulated and analyzed valve closing time of raw water pipeline system with longdistance and multi-branches,closing sequence of water valves and setting of exhaust valves in water treatment plants.Besides,changing characteristics of water hammer pressure were also investigated,which helped to obtain the solutions of valve-closure water hammer as well as the measures and suggestions of water hammer protection.关键词
