Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of centralized disinfection of ventilator tube on ventilator as-sociated pneumonia (VAP) in neonates .Methods A total of 379 children who underwent machanical ventila-tion in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit from January 2014 to January 2016 were enrolled in the study ,and were divided into the control group and the experimental group .The control group was treated with the traditional method of disinfection of the ventilator tube ,and the experimental group was given the automatic disinfection method for ventilator tube .The cleaning effect ,the main outcomes ,the pathogenic bacteria and the drug resist-ance of the isolates bacteria in the two groups were compared .Results Visual method results showed that the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (χ2 =7 .659 ,P<0 .05) ,Bacteria detection results showed that the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group (χ2 =18 .513 ,P<0 .05) , The incidence of VAP in experimental group was significantly lower than the control group (χ2 =14 .513 ,P<0 .05) ,The results of visual method showed that the qualified rate in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group ,and the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =7 .659 ,P<0 .05) .The incidence rate of neonatal VAP in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group (χ2 =14 .513 ,P<0 .05) .The infection rate of gram negative bacteria in the control group was higher than that in the experimental group (χ2 =4 .240 ,P< 0 .05) .The infection rate of fungi in the control group was higher than that in the experimental group ,and the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =4 .840 ,P<0 .05) .The drug resistance to cefoperazone Shubatan and Amikacin in the control group was higher than that in the experimen-tal group ,and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=6 .750 ,P<0 .05) .Conclusion Centralized disinfection of the ventilator tube can reduce the residual of pathogenic bacteria and reduce the incidence of VAP in neonates .关键词
